Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a home manager in the Huntingdon area. The home is relatively large, with a maximum occupancy of 90 beds; therefore experience of home management is required. This is a purpose built home which offers an exciting managerial opportunity. This role is suited for an outstanding individual, who is willing to tackle problems head-on, be dynamic, and possess excellent man-management qualities. Candidates must be familiar with CQC regulations, be able to take into account all financial considerations of the management of a home, and to have taken an active role in the recruitment of staff. Home Managers who hold the RMA or its equivalent will be considered preferably, however having an RGN qualification is an essential. Any candidate with experience or an avid interest in the care of Dementia patients would find this role more challenging than the majority of nursing home environments, and consequently more rewarding. My clients are particularly interested in hearing from home managers who have this interest in Dementia, although this is considered a bonus and by no means essential to the success of an application. The salary is very competitive with a bonus scheme in place.
