Job Title: DSP Software Engineer (Wireless Defence Systems)

Location: Cambridgeshire Type: Permanent Salary: £28k - £45k

Key Skills : DSP, Physical Layer, Radio systems, Embedded system design, C/C++, DSP Algorithm design, Real Time operating systems, Software development for wireless systems (Tetra, GPRS, LMR, Radio systems, etc)

DSP Software Engineer (Wireless Defence Systems)

We are looking for a seriously good Junior Engineer to Engineer with excellent academics in Computer Science, Electronics, Sciences or Maths for our client who has a vacancy working within product development software and hardware R&D Wireless department.

You will be working in an exceptionally gifted team working on a myriad of complex R&D product development projects as a specialist in DSP software development helping with the development of prototypes and pre-production products in the area of wireless for the defence sector, handset manufacturers and semiconductor vendors.

Our client doesn\'t have people leave them, staff turnover is virtually nil and this is for a good reason. What you need;

• Must be A, B grade at A level and 2.1 or higher from a \"TOP\" University,
• Proven knowledge of Embedded software for DSP and developing DSP Algorithms.
• Good Embedded software systems development experience through university, personal or professional projects.
• Solid knowledge of Wireless systems (preferably defence radio systems)
• Embedded C/C++
• Technical Depth of 2G/3G/4G Physical Layer
• This position is open to applicants with only 1 or so year\'s experience.
