Job Description
Our Luton based client is currently looking to recruitment an experienced Bid Manager.
Working with the current Senior Bid Manager, you will be responsible for the following areas:
* Lead and take ownership of the bid/proposal process.
* Bid improvement and tailoring proposals to meet client needs and expectations.
* Supporting Campaign Managers with identifying new opportunities and develop client relationships.
* Working with Commercial Managers to assist with the selling process through to closure.
* Develop and deliver presentations and marketing initiatives.
* Cover for the Senior Bid Manager when absent.
To be considered for this opportunity you MUST have previous experience in a similar bid management role. You will be a customer focussed communicator with advanced negotiation skills and a good general commercial awareness.
Ideally you have a Project Management or Business Winning related degree.
Technically you will have good knowledge of MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Access, Powerpoint) and SAP.
