This is a fascinating role working with some of the brightest Engineers and Scientists in the UK designing products for many household name companies. Your task will be to develop and enhance the company\'s Ideation Toolkit and then execute and analyse projects on behalf of customers Worldwide. Through your efforts you will help enhance the product design process and deliver world-class products for a variety of markets mainly in FMCG and Consumer Healthcare sectors. There may also be the possibility of getting involved in more complex projects such as scientific instruments, bio-medical electronics and highly advanced robotic surgical systems.
With a good Honours Degree and at least five years experience in consumer product design or marketing, (applicants could be from either a technical or commercial background), you will build a knowledge base of how the design process has to evolve create World-Class products. This is more than simply enhancing mass-market consumer appeal, it will also deliver truly inclusive design to people of widely different physical and mental dexterity and varying cultural and social viewpoints.
In addition to expertise in consumer products design and/or marketing and social sciences, you will need proven experience in project management and report-writing with the ability to define, direct and operate insight and ideation programmes. You will also need good commercial awareness, excellent interpersonal skills and be used to working directly with customers at the highest level. A good degree is essential and a second European language would be an added benefit.
